Privacy Policy
This site collects almost nothing. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no third-party scripts. Below is the whole picture, in plain English.

Who we are
LEADS Academy runs live, instructor-led DevOps, Cloud & SRE training and operates the website at leadsacademy.org. If you have a question about privacy — or about anything on this page — write to us and a person will answer.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form. That is:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your phone number — optional.
- Your background and what you want to get out of the program — optional.
- Anything you write in the message box — optional.
When you submit the form, it is delivered to us as an email. There is no database behind this website and no account for you to create here. If you never fill in the form, we have nothing about you beyond the server logs described next.
Server logs
The site is served by Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3. As part of delivering pages and keeping the site secure, standard request logs may be processed — typically your IP address, your browser’s user agent string, and the time of the request. This is the ordinary technical record any web server keeps. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and it is not joined to anything you send us through the form.
What we don’t do
This is worth being specific about, because it is unusual:
- No advertising trackers or pixels.
- No analytics — we do not measure your visit.
- No third-party scripts of any kind. Every file this page loads comes from our own domain.
- No cookies. This site sets none at all. The only thing it stores in your browser is a single localStorage entry remembering whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device, it is not a cookie, and it is not sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Why we process it
To answer your enquiry about the program — to reply to your question, book you into the free first class, and follow up about enrolling. The lawful basis is simple: you asked us to. We do not use your details for anything you did not ask for.
Who we share it with
Nobody. The only third parties involved are the infrastructure that carries the mail — Amazon Web Services, which hosts and delivers this site and the form email — and our email provider, which stores the resulting message in our inbox in the ordinary way. We do not sell your data. We do not trade or rent it. We do not pass it to recruiters, advertisers, or lead brokers.
The student portal is a separate service
Enrolled students sign in at learn.leadsacademy.org ↗, which runs on Thinkific. That is a different service with its own systems and its own privacy policy, and their policy — not this one — governs what happens to your information there. This page only describes leadsacademy.org.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. If a conversation goes nowhere, the message ages out of our inbox. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
Your choices
Email admissions@leadsacademy.org and ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it.
We honor these requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live. You do not need to cite a law or explain why.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The academy is new and small; if something material changes for people who have already written to us, we will say so by email rather than quietly editing this page.
