Terms of Use

These terms cover this website — the pages you are reading right now. The terms for actually enrolling are a separate document you get from admissions before you commit to anything.

What these terms cover

By using leadsacademy.org you accept the terms on this page. They apply to the website only. Two things sit outside them:

  • Enrollment. The terms of enrolling in the program — what you pay, when, what happens if you withdraw — are agreed separately with admissions. You will be given them in writing before you enroll, not buried in a web page.
  • The student portal. learn.leadsacademy.org ↗ runs on a separate service and has its own terms, which govern your use of it.

The content here is for information

These pages describe the program: what it teaches, how it runs, what the labs do. We work to keep it accurate and current, and we correct it when it drifts. But it is a description, not a contract, and it is not technical, career, or professional advice. If a detail matters to your decision, ask admissions and get the answer in writing.

No guarantee of employment or earnings

This is the important one, so it is stated plainly: nothing on this site is a guarantee of employment, earnings, promotion, or any particular outcome. We make no promise that you will get a job, get an interview, or reach any income level.

Where the site describes what DevOps, Cloud and SRE roles typically pay, that is a general description of the job market — not an offer, not a prediction about you, and not a figure measured from our own students. Actual pay depends on the role, your experience, your skills and your location. We publish no placement statistics, and you should not read any description of the curriculum as a prediction about your results. What happens after the program depends on your work, your market, and a great deal we do not control.

Ownership

The LEADS Academy name and logo, and the course material — class plans, labs, written content, and the design of this site — are the Academy’s property. The course repository is licensed to enrolled students for personal educational use: learn from it, build on it, keep it after the program. It is not licensed for redistribution or for teaching it as your own.

You are welcome to link to any page on this site.

No warranty on the site itself

This site is provided as-is. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of every typo. If you find something broken or wrong, tell us and we will fix it — that is the fastest route for everyone.

Links to other sites

We link out to documentation, tools, and the student portal. Those sites are run by other people. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the far end of it.

Changes

The academy is new. We will keep improving the program, and the curriculum and tooling described here may change as the field does. We may also update these terms; when we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
